The functionality of iDropLinks involves a swift retrieval of specific Download Links from Apple, instantly saved to the user's iDropLinks account hosted on secure German servers. Notably, shared files remain in iCloud Drive and are not relocated to external servers. Furthermore, the app features an intuitive link-shortening tool, greatly reducing link lengths.

Rapid generation and secure storage of download links within the user's iDropLinks account on German servers distinguish iDropLinks for iOS. The application presents numerous interface options for effortless sharing, including iMessage, Email, and WhatsApp. Users benefit from easy link management functions like editing, resending, and opening links within the share view, with no file size limitations.

The feature set includes the ability to create groups for quick link dissemination amongst work teams, family members, or company employees. Even when users are without their iOS devices, access to shared content is available via a web-based interface where users can manage existing content, generate new links, edit, and delete them.
